Pay To Download Video On Demand Content

Stations can now configure ShowPrices and ShowPriceSearches that will tag shows with a price. Using Stripe (https://stripe.com) as a payment gateway, viewers can download the mp4 of a Video On Demand after paying the defined price.

Using the power of saved searches prices can change over time as content changes in value. Last weeks football game can fetch a premium, while last years City Council meeting goes for cheap.

New Cablecast Remote Support Tool

Cablecast 7.10 ships with a new Cablecast Support Tool that enables our team to deliver amazing support when you need it most. The cablecast installer will take care of everything for you. We encourage stations to update at their earliest convenience as we will need the new support tool installed before we can assist with most troubleshooting tasks. Producer Content Submission Portal

Stations can now setup portals that allow producers to upload content seamlessly to Cablecast. Content is uploaded first to Cablecast Cloud Services where it can be held before an operator approves it. Cloud services will perform quality checks and a processing transformation to assure content is safe to download before it ever reaches your Cablecast server.
