Hairpinning or NAT Loopbacks

When requesting an external IP address from inside the network, your router needs to loop the connection back on itself. This is called hairpinning, or a NAT loopback, and is necessary to configure in order to access the Cablecast UI utilizing your external IP or DNS address from within your local network.
