Overview

This release of Cablecast Addresses several regressions in Autopilot and improves many of the autopilot messages displayed in the reports. It also includes support for Google Analytics Four Measurement IDs.

• CC-4284 Autopilot Does Not Remove Events For Schedule Events With Missing Assets
  • Fixed an issue where Autopilot would not remove events that had missing playback assets. The events are now properly removed until the required asset is made available and Autopilot is re-sent.
• CC-3153 Autopilot Does Not Save All Send Report Messages
  • Fixed an issue that caused Autopilot to treat many messages as identical, causing them to be excluded from the report. This could lead to Failed autopilot sends with no relevant failure messages about the cause.
• CC-3245 Support For Google Analytics 4 [GA4]
  • Internet channels can now be configured to use a Google Analytics 4 Measurement ID to report analytics to Google Analytics.
• CC-3938 Cablecast Installer Will Grant Service User LogonAsAService Right
  • The Cablecast service will now ensure that service accounts are granted the LogonAsAService right. Previously this needed to be done before installation or services would fail to start.
• CC-4166 Frontdoor-Populate Script Missing from 7.6 Installation
  • Updated the installer to include a script to populate Cablecast CG roles for Frontdoor.
• CC-4168 Enabled checkbox in Workflows not being respected
  • Fixed an issue where new workflows were not enabled after saving even when the user clicked enabled.
• CC-4175 Re-Index Jobs Not Created if Any Pending Re-index Can't Access File
  • Fixed an issue where file indexing jobs are not get created if one of the current jobs had an associated device that could not access the file.
• CC-4183 Re-Index Jobs Not Created if No Playback Links Found
  • Fixed an issue where processing of file indexing jobs could get blocked if one of the jobs was unable to access the file on a playback file store.
• CC-4185 Legacy SOAP WebService Does Not Filter Or Load VODs Correctly
  • Fixed how the legacy SOAP WebService loads VOD information for shows. Note this API is deprecated and will be removed in a future version of Cablecast. Please refactor all use of it to newer REST APIs.
• CC-4216 Thumbnail Jobs Creation Can Loop Due To DB Error
  • Fixed an issue with thumbnails where a thumbnail job could be submitted multiple time for processing.
