Application Errors in the Cablecast UI

Here is an example of what the UI will look like in this scenario.

To resolve, follow the steps below.

  1. Open SQL Server 2016 Configuration Manager (or matching version)
  2. Expand SQL Server Network Configuration and select 'Protocols for MSSQLSERVER'
  3. Set TCP/IP status to 'enabled'
  4. Restart the SQL Server service and test UI access

If SQL Server 2016 Configuration Manager fails to open, it may need to be repaired/reinstalled first.
