Live IP Exempt has gotten a big upgrade. Previously when a program marked as Live IP Exempt was aired the web based player would become disabled and show a message to viewers who attempted to watch the stream. This didn’t effect viewers using OTT apps or custom players. The feature was also intentionally disabled on VIOStream hardware. With this upgrade Live IP Exempt programs now pre-empt the video and audio internet stream being generated with the poster graphic for the live stream. This works across all platforms regardless of the hardware or player being used.

Fixed an issue where the video server engine could crash while attempting to restart cg line in audio during buffer under runs. The line in audio now restarts properly.

Fixed an issue where a network timeout while starting captions could cause an un-recoverable error freezing an SDI output until the application is restarted. The video server engine will now continue to pass through audio and video and retry captions within a few seconds once network conditions have improved.

Fixed an issue where clicking a search result on the Internet Channel could take you to a different site, changing the branding of the site.

Fixed an issue that could cause Producer Uploads to fail to associate with a show if the show was saved by a user before the file was fully indexed. The files are now named with their ShowID as a prefix, ensuring the file will be properly linked.

A thumbnail can now be cleared from an Internet Channel Gallery.

Fixed the drop down component used in the Show Record to allow clearing the selected Producer, Category, and Project.

Fixed a race condition that could result in multiple chaptering sessions being created for the same VOD if a user double clicked the “Start Chaptering” button. Now the existing chaptering session will be used.

Fixed an database race condition that would cause an autopilot failure message, and prevent modified record run lengths from being honored.

Fixed a library version mismatch that could cause error messages on certain screens or services fail to start after upgrading to Cablecast 7.10. This issue was particularly prevalent on older Flex servers that hosted the Cablecast user interface.

Improved how iframe displays are rendered in internet channels. This significantly improves responsiveness and accessibility when embedding documents such as agendas, and meeting minutes with a show.
