General Requirements

MediaScribe uses a web based interface accessed using HTTP port 80 or HTTPS port 443 over the local network. Network administrators should generally assign a static IP address or a DHCP reservation to prevent the IP address from changing between events.

MediaScribe makes use of several internet endpoints to provide its services. In general the MediaScribe Gateway Appliance should have outbound access to the public internet. No inbound traffic from the public internet is required. For strict network environments where outbound access is restricted, a complete list of required endpoints is provided below.
