Feature Overview: Show Record Redesign

Tabs

Previously, the show fields were arranged in a single-section format. With the new redesign, they have been reorganized into separate tabs to provide a clearer and more streamlined user experience. For details on which fields are located under each tab, please refer to the manual.

Reels

The Reels section has undergone a significant redesign, introducing the following features:

• Create Reel Modal: Effortlessly create new reels by following a simple, step-by-step process within the modal.
• Reel Drag-and-Drop: Easily rearrange the order of your reels with intuitive drag-and-drop functionality.
• Reel Trimmer: For digital files, you can now adjust reel timing by a simple slider, and conveniently create new reels from the same file, all within the same modal.

VOD

Once VOD is enabled, you can easily manage its settings and chapters from a single screen. All the features previously available for managing VOD in the Internet Video section of Cablecast are now integrated into the show record. This includes the ability to create, edit, delete, publish, and unpublish chapters, generate and retrieve embed links, view logs, retranscode and manage Secondary Audio Settings—all within the same section.

Text Tracks

The layout used on the text-track page has now been incorporated into the show record. This allows you to view files, check their statuses, take actions, and review job history all in one place. Captions and translations also come with a new settings menu, making it easier to manage their requirements.

Related Assets

The layout from the assets screen has been integrated into the show record, making it easier to manage related assets. You can quickly view file stores, sizes, and statuses, as well as perform actions on individual assets directly.
