Colors

Color Options:

When editing the colors for the Internet Channel. There are now a few more options available:

  • Banner Color
    • Top Banner, runs across all pages of Internet Channel
  • Background Color
    • color that will be used behind the content of your page.
  • Gradient Color
    • color that will be used for the top of the page. This color will gradually transition to white at the bottom of the page.
  • Primary Button Color:
    • Applies to:
      • Search button
  • Secondary Button Color
    • Applies to:
      • Watch button

  • Body Button Color
    • Applies to Interactive elements throughout the interface:
      • Schedule button
      • Display mode toggle (Highlight color) for view of List or Grid options on front page
      • Tab Highlight underline on Programs Page
      • Video chapter progress indicators

Dynamically Generated Colors:

Text color is automatically generated based on the background color. A function selects either dark gray or white to ensure proper contrast.

Other Notes on Colors:

It is your responsibility to select colors that maintain adequate contrast with the two text options mentioned above. A contrast checker is advised to ensure compliance with WCAG accessibility standards.

One such contrast checker is provided by webaim.org

The WAVE evaluation tool is a great option for checking your whole site for meeting requirements, though many other tools are also available.

Grid vs. Table View

Buttons in the top-right corner of the show galleries allow you to toggle between grid and table view.

Set the Display Type to grid or Table to configure the default type.

Show Tabs

The show page has been redesigned with tabs to create a cleaner and more organized layout.

Chapters

A progress bar along with start and stop timestamps have been added to every chapter.

Nested Galleries

You can now create nested galleries for your shows. For example, if you want a gallery titled "Sports," you can have additional galleries nested within it, such as "Baseball" and "Soccer," each featuring its own collection of shows.

Downloads

If a show has available downloads, a downloads button will be provided, opening a modal to view and download each file. The files may include either .mp4 or transcript files.

The .mp4 files can be downloaded if the "Enable Downloads" box is checked while editing the internet channel. Transcript files are essential for accessibility.

Livestreams

The ability to easily find live events has been added to this new feature. If there is a current run and no VOD for a show, the livestream will automatically be embedded on that shows page.
