Did you know that your VOD and Livestreams can be on Apple, Amazon, Android, and Roku devices for free? All you need is REFLECT or REFLECT+ and the Cablecast App.

Requirements

When you subscribe to either REFLECT or REFLECT+, your content can be added to our Cablecast app. All you have to do is add your information and content to your App Channel and it will be distributed in the Cablecast app and automatically updated from your saved searches.

We have setup a dedicated article for configuring your channel. This is the very first thing that will need to happen after you get REFLECT or REFLECT+

Within the app, stations are automatically sorted by distance based on the viewers IP address. If they are in your area, your content will be at the top of the list. Viewers can also use the search function to locate your content directly.

Branded Streaming App

While your content is easy to find within the Cablecast app, you may want to have a dedicated app with your branding so that viewers can easily find and view your content directly within your app. Branded Streaming apps have two benefits over the community Cablecast app.

1. Viewers can more easily find the stations they are looking for in the app stores because they are looking for an entity they are already familiar with. For example a viewer would search for “PCTV” in the Apple app store instead of “Cablecast”.
2. Stations get to carry their branding through the entire experience from the initial marketing description in the app store, app icons and launch screens. These customized graphics replace Cablecast branding everywhere making the app feel like the stations property, not Cablecasts.”
