All Release Notes:

  • CC-1235 Development Placeholder Image In Public Site
    • Removed a development place holder image in the public site. Shows without thumbnails now display an empty area.
  • CC-1590 No Default Source Warning When using CablecastCG
    • Gaps in the schedule are no longer marked with a warning of no default source when using CablecastCG as the default source.
  • CC-1667 Links To Old Public Site Location Do Not Work
    • Public site links from previous versions of Cablecast now redirect with the appropriate 301 status code.
  • CC-1697 Live Chapter Events Doesn't Show All Upcoming Shows
    • Adjusted the sorting and filtering for the Chapter Live Events screen to sort shows by Event Date. This allows upcoming shows to be displayed even when using the autoscheduler. Previously shows were sorted by ShowID which would cause the screen to fill up with autoscheduled series that were recently created.
  • CC-1714 Autoscheduler Content Search Selection Can Show Incorrect Selection
    • Fixed an issue with the Autoscheduler rule creation screen where the Saved Search selector could show a search as being selected even if it was not selected. This would cause the rule not to be able to schedule any content due to the empty search.
  • CC-1792 Error from Line In causes CablecastCG to get stuck indefinitely
    • We will now detect issues with the line in audio source and attempt to restart the audio.
  • CC-1867 Bulletins Can Become Orphaned Which Causes Failure To Load UI
    • Fixed an error that would prevent loading the CablecastCG user interface if a bulletin becomes orphaned from its parent zone.
  • CC-1918 File Uploads can Fail if VOD Server has Multiple NIC's
    • Fixed an issue where transfers of uploaded digital files would fail due the destination server trying to reach the primary server at the wrong address.
  • CC-1924 Autoscheduled Content Does Not Get Channel Branded
    • Fixed an issue with Autoscheduled content not being marked for channel branding. Autoscheduled content will now be branded like manually scheduled content.
  • CC-1943 Shows Created By Autscheduler Do Not Copy Stream Settings
    • Shows that created by the Autoscheduler now copy a reels Network Stream Selection.
  • CC-1954 AFD Support For Flex and VIO Servers Running CablecastVideoServerCM
    • Perviously video servers using the CablecastVideoServerCM would not output any AFD (Active Format Description) codes. VIO and Flex servers will now output AFD (Active Format Description) codes in the SDI VANC.
  • CC-1955 Errors When Stopping Network Streams Can Prevent Future Streams
    • Fixed some edge cases in stream cleanup that could cause all further network stream related commands to error out. This would typically result in the next network stream, hours or even days later failing to play.
  • CC-1960 Digital Files Can Be Uploaded With No Destination Server Selected
    • The Digital File Upload screen now requires a destination server be selected. Previously files were allowed to be uploaded but would not be transferred and therefore not be made available.
  • CC-1966 Disable Local Debug Logs From IIS Web Server
    • Fixed a configuration issue that would respond to bad requests with local debug information. A generic error page is now returned.
  • CC-1973 First Run Fields Always Show Current Date On Public Site
    • Public Sites Displaying the First Run Date for a show now correctly display the actual first run date.
  • CC-1974 Malformed Requests To Schedule API Can Cause High CPU Usage Locking Up User Interface
    • Fixed an issue where bad api requests to the schedule api would attempt to load and return the entire schedule for all time. This would cause extremely high CPU usage and possibly prevent other api requests until the request completed.
  • CC-1977 Cablecast Web Configuration Files Not Updated By Installer
    • Fixed an issue where the installer won't delete an older web site configuration file and therefore is not able to replace it. The installer now deletes the files so the new version can update the config file correctly.
  • CC-1978 Public Site Channel Schedule Doesn't Filter Out Runs From Other Channels
    • The public site now only displays future runs for events on the current channel being viewed.
  • CC-1982 CablecastCG Channels Using Line In Audio Crash Process After One Hour
    • Fixed an issue where CG channels using background audio from a line in source would consistently crash the process after one our of playback.
  • CC-1988 Flex Server Video Server Engine Can Fail To Recover From Critical Errors
    • Improved how recovery logic waits for the video server engine to start. Specifically on Flex servers the video server engine can take several seconds to initialize which could lead to a recovery loop where the Control Modules try to continuously restart the video server engine.
  • CC-1993 Flex4 Servers Will Sometimes Not Capture Closed Captions
    • Fixed an issue where closed captions would be extracted from the incorrect field of interlaced content.
  • CC-1994 Flex Servers Running Latest Video Engine Do Not Automatically Lock On When External Reference Is Connected
    • Fixed a configuration issue with Flex servers detecting external reference signals. Now all video servers using CablecastVideoServerCM will automatically lock on when external reference is connected.
