Cablecast - Identifying Current & Legacy Equipment

Overview

To help you identify Cablecast equipment in your server rack or facility, we have some photos below for reference.

VIO Series (2019 - Present)

These units are primarily black and green with the "swoosh" design on the front. Products come in 1, 2, and 3RU Flavors. The sticker will show the model to the left of the status LEDs. Variants of this are (including, but not limited to) Live 350, VIO Lite, VIO 2, VIO 4, VIO 4+, ProVOD, VOD LITE, VIO Stream.

Flex Series (Early 2017 - 2019)

These units are primarily black and yellow with the "swoosh" design on the front. Products come in 1, 2, and 3RU Flavors. The sticker will show the model to the left of the status LEDs. Variants of this are (including, but not limited to) Live340, Live330, CG330, CG340, Flex Lite, Flex 2, Flex 4, ProVOD, Pro.

SX Series (2013 - Late 2016)

This series of servers typically are black, with a top right corner sticker that has green design elements on it. These will have the sticker showing SX, PRO, VOD on the sticker.

The old series of Carousel players are entirely yellow on the front and have a key to unhinge the front, revealing the USB ports, reset switch, and the power button.

VSX Series (2007? - 2012)

VSX Series of servers are similar to the SX design. Black and Green elements on the front. We currently at this time have no legacy photos of a Cablecast VSX System.
