Cablecast 7.3.4 address some of the initial bugs discovered in 7.3.0 and 7.3.2

  • CC-2444 Installer Not Deploying Broadcom RAID CLIs
    • Fixed the issue that caused the RAID status to be incorrectly, or not reported, on newer VIO servers.
  • CC-2465 Cablecast 7.3 Software Metrics 404 Error
    • Fixed an issue where Cablecast UI would display a 404 error attempting to load the software metrics page.
  • CC-2473 Autopilot Error - Unavailable Passthrough Device
    • Fixed an issue where Autopilot could incorrectly report that an encoder was not available for a passthrough event.
  • CC-2476 CablecastCG Background Streaming Audio Settings Not Saved
    • Fixed issue where Cablecast CG background streaming audio settings were not saved.
  • CC-2478 HLS Variants are double trimmed.
    • Fixed issue where VOD's would improperly transcode if cue points were set on the show.
  • CC-2481 1920 x 1088 files marked as invalid
    • Fixed an issue where digital files with 1088 vertical lines were incorrectly being tagged as unplayable.
  • CC-2491 VOD Chapters Character Limit
    • Fixed the issue where there was a character limit on VOD chapter naming. The limit has been removed.
  • CC-2497 Bug Text Does Not Work With Special Characters
    • Fixed issue where special characters (e.g. Spanish characters) prevented Bug text from displaying correctly.
  • CC-2514 NTSC Inputs With VANC and Line 21 Captions cause duplicated caption packets
    • Fixed issue where NTSC video sources with both VANC and Line 21 captions would cause corrupted captions to be displayed.
  • CC-2517 VODs with Multiple Reels Are Not Assembled Correctly
    • Fixed issue where VOD's with multiple reels would fail to transcode properly.
  • CC-2526 Failed VOD's Count Not Correct on Dashboard Display
    • Fixed the issue where the "Failed" VOD stats reported on the main Cablecast dashboard screen would report the incorrect count. The system was not counting VOD's that had failed in the Transcoding Variant Failed state.
