CablecastRTMP Server Status Page

Last Updated:June 17, 2026

Overview

When you stream a live event to a CablecastRTMP instance, the server status page is where you confirm everything is working. It shows the technical specs of your incoming stream, the status of each configured Simulcast, and any clients connected to the server. This article walks through how to reach the status page and what each section tells you.

Accessing the Server Status Page

Log in to your account at cloud.cablecast.tv/login.

Under LIVE SERVERS, select an AVAILABLE instance.

The Live Servers row, with the arrow pointing to the green Available badge.

In the management area, if you have no current events, the status page looks like this:

The no-event management view, three stream tabs, the Playback URL buttons, and the black arrow pointing at "Not currently streaming."

If you do have a current event going to CablecastRTMP, it looks like this:

The active-event page: green Connected badge, the Stream Details specs (H264 / 1280x720 / 30 FPS, AAC / 44100 Hz), two Disabled Simulcasts, and one Publishing client.

Stream Details

This section reports the technical specs of your incoming stream.

Simulcasts

This section lists every Simulcast configured for that stream and provides a status for each:

  • Casting — The connection to the other end was successful, and the instance is rebroadcasting the incoming stream.

  • Offline — The connection failed. There is likely a problem with the URL or Key for that Simulcast.

  • Disabled — That Simulcast is currently turned off.

Clients

This section lists any RTMP clients that initiated a connection with the server. The client showing a Publishing status is the one currently serving the original stream.

Summary

The CablecastRTMP server status page gives you a single place to confirm a live event is flowing as expected. Use Stream Details to verify your incoming feed, the Simulcasts section to confirm each destination is Casting, and the Clients section to see which client is Publishing the original stream. If a Simulcast reads Offline, start by checking its URL and Key.
